Since 1997, Fog City Entertainment has been creating memorable events throughout Northern California with one guiding principle: exceptional entertainment begins with listening.
Founded by Bay Area radio professional and DJ Russ Catanach, Fog City began as a boutique DJ company serving private celebrations and corporate events. Over the years, the company expanded its reach and capabilities, growing into a full-service entertainment brand offering DJs, live musicians, lighting, sound, photo experiences, and creative event production.
Today, Fog City Entertainment is led by DJ Ashley Good, who joined the company in 2003 and became owner in 2020. With nearly a quarter century of experience as a DJ, MC, broadcaster, and creative director, Ashley continues the company’s legacy while guiding it into a new era of highly personalized, experience-driven entertainment.
Our collective includes accomplished DJs and musicians with backgrounds in weddings, nightlife, radio, live performance, and large-scale events. What unites them is not a single style, but a shared standard: thoughtful preparation, confident execution, exceptional communication, and an instinct for creating the right atmosphere at the right moment.
